Brutal Attack in Canterbury: Man Left with Serious Facial Injuries

Detectives are hunting two attackers after a vicious robbery attempt in Canterbury left a man fighting for his life.

Victim Brutally Beaten After Refusing to Hand Over Cash

Between 11pm and midnight on Saturday, 19 November 2022, a man in his 20s was walking along Kingsmead Road, near Northgate, when he was accosted by two men demanding money. After he refused, he was violently knocked to the ground and viciously kicked and stamped on.

The attackers rifled through his pockets but fled empty-handed.

Suspects Described as Slim White Men, Around 6 Feet Tall

  • Both offenders were slim, white men, around six feet tall.
  • One had blonde hair; the other had brown.
  • Both wore jeans, jumpers, and coats.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

The victim was rushed to hospital with serious facial injuries.
