Serious Incident Shuts Down Baglan Street
South Wales Police have launched a full multi-agency response after a “serious incident” rocked Baglan Street in Treorchy around midday today.
Casualties Reported, Details Scarce
The force has not revealed how many people were affected. Ambulance crews are on the scene treating multiple casualties. An area of the road is sealed off, with a single-decker bus spotted behind the police cordon.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
“Police units are currently dealing with a serious incident which occurred in Baglan Street, Treorchy, at approximately midday today,” a South Wales Police spokesperson said.
“Ambulance crews are also in attendance as the incident involves a number of casualties. The street has been closed off and people are advised to avoid the area until further notice. Updates will be released when they are available.”
“Anybody who may have witnessed the incident is urged to contact 101 immediately and give reference *077519.”
