Five Lanes Shut for Over 90 Minutes
Police shut the crucial interchange connecting the A27, M275, and Junction 12, closing a total of five lanes for more than an hour and a half. Traffic was forced to divert onto the A27 and surrounding side roads, causing gridlock.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance touched down at the roadside while emergency teams worked to free and treat those involved. A doctor and paramedic on site treated one driver seriously hurt in the smash.
