Tragic Death of Young Cyclist After Hackney Crash
A 27-year-old cyclist has died following a serious collision in Hackney. The accident happened on Kenworthy Road on the evening of 10 September. Despite being rushed to hospital, the man passed away two days later on 12 September.
Driver Arrested After Crash
The cyclist was hit by a car, which then smashed into another vehicle. The driver, a 24-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm by dangerous driving. She is currently on bail until early December while the investigation continues.
Call for Witnesses
The cyclist’s family has been informed and are receiving specialist support. A post-mortem exam will determine the exact cause of death. Meanwhile, detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are working hard to uncover the full story.
