Armed Drama in Haringey: Two Held After Gun Report
Police swooped on a Haringey home after a tip-off about a man carrying a handgun. The drama unfolded at around 11.20pm on Sunday, 31 May, on Willoughby Lane, N17.
Firearms Unit Descends on Scene
A witness spotted three people entering the address, one reportedly armed with a handgun. Specialist firearms officers were called in and quickly raided the property.
Two Arrested, Weapon Still Missing
A man and a woman, both in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of firearms offences. They’ve been taken to a north London police station. So far, no weapon has been found and enquiries are ongoing.
