Shock Assault in Bexleyheath: Two Held After Elderly Man Pushed to Ground

Police swooped on Bexleyheath Market Place this afternoon after a man in his 70s was violently shoved to the floor. The incident sparked quick action from officers on the scene.

At around 4:05pm on July 10, emergency services were alerted to the assault. Officers arrived promptly and found the elderly victim had been pushed down.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at about 16:05hrs on Monday, 10 July to reports of an assault on Market Place in Bexleyheath. Officers attended and were informed that a man, aged in his 70s, had been pushed to the ground.”

Two Suspects Nabbed Nearby

Thankfully, cops detained two suspects close to the scene. Both are now in custody being questioned as the probe continues.
