Man Brutally Assaulted in Borstal – Police Seek Witnesses

Kent Police are hunting for witnesses after a violent attack on Borstal Street.

Victim Attacked After Falling

The victim was walking along Borstal Street between 9.40pm and 10pm on Thursday, 1 October 2020, when he suddenly fell over. While on the ground, two men reportedly approached him and repeatedly kicked his chest, arms, and head.

The assault left the man with arm and head injuries. He was treated at a local hospital and has since been discharged.

Suspects Described – Arrest Made

Police describe both suspects as slim Black men, aged between 20 and 25. A man in his 20s from Rochester was arrested on suspicion of assault on 2 October. He has been released on bail while inquiries continue.
