Man Fatally Stabbed in Clapton Late Wednesday Night
A deadly stabbing has rocked Clapton after police found a man in his 30s with fatal stab wounds in Rushmore Road just after 3.30am on Wednesday, 28 August.
Emergency crews including the London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance rushed to the scene but sadly, the victim was pronounced dead there and then.
Two Men Arrested on Murder Suspicion
Police quickly arrested two suspects, aged 28 and 21, nearby. Both remain in custody at an east London police station as detectives launch a full murder investigation.
The crime scene remains cordoned off while officers piece together what sparked the deadly attack.
Police Plead for Public Help
“Our investigation is still in the early stages and detectives are working hard to establish the circumstances,” said Detective Chief Superintendent James Conway, overseeing Hackney and Tower Hamlets policing.
“If anyone has information about this tragic incident, I urge them to come forward or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.”
