Police Crack Down on Drugs and Knives
“These are serious offences and this was a positive proactive stop. We are pleased that a large knife has been removed from the community, together with a significant amount of suspected class A drugs. These drugs destroy lives and blight entire communities through increased crime and anti-social behaviour,” said PC Thomas Richardson.
“We will simply not tolerate this and will continue to make every effort to bring those involved to justice.
“I would urge anyone who is aware of drug activity in their area to contact 101 – you can be assured that any information you give will be treated with the utmost discretion.”
