Jewellery Heist Foiled in Queen Street

Chaos erupted on Queen Street at 11.20am this Wednesday when two men were caught rummaging through a bag of jewellery. Witnesses reported the pair swiping some gems before dumping the rest into a bin behind a wall near The Terrace.

Dog Unit Snaps Up Stolen Loot

Kent Police’s sharp-eyed Dog Unit was soon on the scene. The officer quickly recovered the jewellery from the bin, suspecting it was stolen. The suspects were tracked down on Windmill Street and arrested on the spot for burglary and handling stolen goods.

Suspects Released as Investigation Continues

The men, aged 34 and 42, both from Gravesend, have now been released pending further probes. Police are working hard to return the precious jewellery to its rightful owners as inquiries continue.
