Beckenham Crash: Driver Busted After Hitting Two Pedestrians on The Drive

Pedestrians Injured but Released

Emergency services raced to The Drive in Beckenham just before 10am on September 27 after a car crashed into two pedestrians.

The London Ambulance Service rushed the victims to hospital. Thankfully, both have now been discharged with no serious injuries.

Driver Arrested and Vehicle Seized

The driver was quickly arrested at the scene. They face multiple charges, including driving without insurance.

Police wasted no time seizing the vehicle as part of their crackdown.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called to The Drive in Beckenham at 09:49hrs on Saturday, 27 September, following reports of a collision involving a car and two pedestrians. The pedestrians were taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service and have since been released. The driver of the vehicle was processed for a number of driving offences, including driving without insurance, and the vehicle has been seized by police.”
