Vandals Wreck Hampshire Charity Shop with Offensive Graffiti
Fareham, Hampshire has been hit by a nasty wave of attacks since the start of the year. The latest shock came when thugs struck the Forces Support charity shop, smashing the roof and spray-painting vile, offensive graffiti.
Charity Shop Targeted in Latest Raid
Shop manager Carol Hunt revealed the heartbreaking damage. “Someone climbed on the roof and sprayed horrible, offensive graffiti. It’s awful to see,” she said.
Volunteers Neil Webb and Carol are now left picking up the pieces after this cruel attack on a place that raises crucial funds for ex-forces personnel.
Community Pleads for Help to Clean Up
Carol made a desperate appeal: “Is there any contractor out there who could help remove the graffiti? We know it’s a big ask, but we’d be so grateful. We do our best to raise money and cut costs, but this is beyond our control.”
The flat roof is damaged, and the shop needs urgent repairs to carry on supporting its cause.
