Two men, aged 28 and 33, were arrested on suspicion of murder over the weekend. They remain in custody as the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command presses ahead with the investigation.
Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Out
“Our thoughts remain with the family of Gleb at this sad time,” said Detective Chief Inspector Simon Stancombe. “We are doing all we can to find out who is responsible for his death.”
“We want to hear from anyone who saw two males fleeing the scene, running towards the DLR at Poplar. This happened in broad daylight and we believe several witnesses saw the attack and its aftermath.”
