Man Wanted Over Croydon Street Brawl Leaving Five Hospitalised
Police hunting a man linked to a savage fight in Croydon have named 18-year-old Jedaiah Param. The brawl, involving weapons, saw five men rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Early Morning Attack on Surrey Street
Officers were called just before 4am on 16 December 2017 after reports of a violent disturbance on Surrey Street, Croydon. The London Ambulance Service also rushed to the scene.
Five men sustained injuries during the fracas:
- 23-year-old stabbed in the leg
- 24-year-old found on Wandle Road with chest stab wounds
- 20-year-old carried a slash wound to the face from Denmark Road
- 23-year-old treated for a cut on his left hand
- 19-year-old suffered a stab wound to his right arm
All victims have since been discharged.
Weapons Involved Include Pole and Knives
Police reveal suspects, aged late teens to early 20s, used a range of weapons. One was spotted wielding a pole during the melee.
On 24 January, officers released CCTV snaps of two men they want to ID. They now believe one, dubbed ‘Suspect 2,’ is Jedaiah Param.
Appeal for Information
A 19-year-old man has been arrested but released under investigation. Police urge anyone with information on Param’s whereabouts to call Croydon CID on 07769 922321 or 101.
“We are keen to speak with Jedaiah Param in connection with this serious incident,” police said.
