Police Hunt Witnesses After Sheerness Assault Spat
Police are on the lookout for witnesses following an assault in Sheerness that kicked off over a road rage incident.
Green Land Rover Sparks Cyclist Clash
At 10:25am on 21 June 2020, a green Land Rover towing a small fishing boat sped past three cyclists on Marine Parade. The driver and passenger then stopped, only to be approached by two of the riders angry about how they’d been overtaken.
A scuffle broke out, resulting in the driver and passenger suffering minor injuries. Both later received hospital treatment before being discharged.
Suspect Cyclists Ride Off
The two male cyclists involved, accompanied by a female rider, sped away from the scene after the altercation.
- One man: late 30s, stocky, black beard
- The other: late 40s, stocky, black/grey beard
- Both wore dark lycra, sunglasses, cycling caps, and gloves
Police Appeal for Silver Mercedes Driver and Witnesses
