Tragic Hit-and-Run Near Ash Leaves 80-Year-Old Dead
Kent Police were scrambled at 6.52am on Monday 24 January 2022 after an injured man was found beside the A257 near Ash. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but heartbreakingly, the 80-year-old pedestrian was pronounced dead.
Black BMW Driver Flees Scene, Woman Arrested
Investigations reveal the victim was struck by a black BMW around 6.45am. The car had vanished before officers arrived. However, a woman has since been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
