Tragedy on Sutton Lane: Motorcyclist Dies in Horror Crash
An orange Yamaha motorbike collided with a red Peugeot 106 on Sutton Lane, Ripple, at 12.46pm on Sunday, 23 August 2020.
Deadly Collision at Ripple Crossroads
The Peugeot was turning right from Mongeham Road into Sutton Lane when the smash happened. The motorcyclist, a man in his 70s, sadly died at the scene.
Arrest Made as Police Investigate
A 23-year-old Deal man was arrested over the crash but has since been released on bail while inquiries continue.
Witnesses and Dashcam Footage Sought
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is urging anyone who saw the crash or the vehicles before the incident to come forward. They are also appealing for dashcam footage that could help their probe.
