Teen Boy Attacked in Broad Daylight on High Street
Shock as a teenage boy is verbally abused and then punched multiple times near the bus station on Friday night, August 19, 2022.
Attack Unfolds Between 8pm and 8.20pm
The boy was followed down the High Street by a teenage girl hurling insults. The verbal abuse escalated quickly, ending in several blows to the victim. Thankfully, the injuries were non-serious.
Good Samaritans Step In
Shortly after the assault, three or four passersby approached the shaken teen to check on him. Police have since identified and spoken with a suspect.
