Woman Sexually Assaulted in Coatbridge Hotel – Police Hunt Suspect

Detectives are urgently seeking tips after a 44-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in a hotel on Main Street, Coatbridge, at around 2am on Sunday, 15 October.

Suspect Description Released

The attacker is a man in his 40s, about 5ft 10in tall, medium build, with short light brown hair. He was last seen wearing dark jeans, dark shoes, and a blue zipped top with white trim around the collar.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Inspector Lorraine Wilson said the victim had been at a nearby bar earlier that evening before heading to a taxi rank where she encountered the suspect.

“We are appealing to anyone who was in the area or who may have witnessed anything unusual to come forward. Any small detail could help us piece together what happened,” DI Wilson said.
