Teen Stabbed in Shocking Bank Holiday Violence Spree in Leytonstone
A 17-year-old boy was stabbed on Leytonstone Road this Monday afternoon, adding to the capital’s disturbing wave of violence over the long weekend. Detectives are hunting witnesses as the brutal attack unfolds in east London’s Waltham Forest.
Attack Details
Police rushed to the scene shortly after 4:38pm on May 7th following reports of a stabbing/" title="Stabbing" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">stabbing. Emergency services attended swiftly, and the injured teen was taken to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Suspects on the Run
- Two men on a dark moped rolled up to Leytonstone Road. Both wore balaclavas and dark clothing.
- The passenger reportedly fired a gunshot towards the victim before the stabbing.
- A dark car followed the moped. Four people jumped out and launched a vicious attack before speeding off.
No arrests have been made yet. Police are working tirelessly to track down all involved.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“Anyone with information or who saw what happened is urged to contact Newham Police immediately,” detectives said.
