Fire crews called to skatepark in Freshwater

A fire crew from Freshwater have used a hose reel jet to tackle a fire at the skate park in Freshwater Crews were called just before 9pm on Thursday evening after part of the shelter was set alight. It is understood that black rubber matting was smouldering. Retained firefighters arrived on the scene and quickly dealt with incident using the high pressure jet. The cause of the small fire is currently unknown.
