An area near Belsize Park and Swiss Cottage was cordoned off by police this evening following reports of a firearm being discharged.
The incident, which occurred at around 4 p.m. on 3 January in Fitzjohns Avenue, NW3, is now under investigation by the Met Police Trident team, which specialises in gun and gang-related crime.
Police have confirmed that no injuries have been reported. Officers remain on the scene, securing the area and conducting a forensic examination.
A Met Police spokesperson stated:
.At this time, no arrests have been made, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
