Police Respond After Reports of Firearm in Wembley Park Drive – UKNIP

Police were called at 10.19pm  on Sunday, 27 April, to Wembley Park Drive following reports of a group of men seen with a firearm.

Officers responded swiftly to the call, arriving on the scene shortly after receiving the alert. A thorough search of the area was conducted, including a review of local CCTV footage. However, no suspects were located.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident. There have been no reports of injuries.

A spokesperson for the force urged anyone with information or footage that could assist the investigation to come forward.

“Wembley Park Drive is a busy area, particularly on a Sunday evening,” they said. “We are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to contact us immediately.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 6830/27Apr. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
