Van Load of Amazon Deliveries Stolen in Southampton

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident on Broadlands Road between 10.30am and 11am yesterday (Monday, January 16). A driver delivering parcels on behalf of Amazon left his vehicle on Broadlands Road briefly whilst delivering a parcel. When he returned the vehicle had been stolen. It was tracked and found in Bassett Crescent East shortly after and has since been recovered by officers. Several parcels had been stolen valued at over £1600. Police Staff Investigator Daniel Brown from the Western Investigation Team said: “We would like to speak to anyone who saw someone entering, driving or abandoning a white, unmarked, transit van in either the Broadlands Road area or Bassett Crescent East area between these times. “Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in these areas? Please call 101 and quote 44170018744.” Alternatively, call Crimestoppers and leave information anonymously on 0800 555 111.
