Extensive searches have been conducted since she was reported missing on June 26th, and officers would like to thank the community for their assistance in the ongoing investigation.
A body was discovered near Fitzwilliam Street in Bradford at 7.35 p.m. on Wednesday.
While forensic examinations are being conducted, a scene has been set up.
Although formal identification has not yet occurred, Somaiya’s family has been notified.
A 52-year-old man has been re-arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.
