Missing Teen Julia Skala Disappears from Mitcham
Julia Skala, 16, vanished from her Mitcham home around 1pm on Monday, 8 January. She was last seen wearing a black North Face jacket, black trousers, white Nike trainers, and carrying a black Nike rucksack.
Police Launch Major Search as Concerns Grow
Julia was reported missing the next morning. Since then, police have scoured the area, reviewing CCTV footage and conducting house-to-house enquiries. Despite their efforts, her whereabouts remain unknown.
Superintendent Josh Laughton of south-west London policing said: “Julia’s family say it’s unusual for her to be away this long. While there’s no evidence she’s been harmed, we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.”
