Drivers in and around Bromley should be prepared for two scheduled road closures on the A20 this week, which could result in minor delays. According to National Highways, the closures are expected to cause only slight disruptions, with delays of less than 10 minutes.
Here are the details of the planned closures:
- A20 westbound between M25 Junction 3 and Junction B2173: From 10 pm on Monday, October 14, to 5 am on Tuesday, October 15. Lane closures for maintenance works will be in place, and slight delays are expected.
- A20 westbound between Swanley Interchange and Crittalls’ Corner: From 10 pm on Tuesday, October 15, to 5 am on Thursday, October 17. Lane closures for horticultural works are scheduled, again causing minor delays.
National Highways, which oversees the maintenance of motorways and major A-roads, advises drivers to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys during these periods.
Smaller road closures not managed by National Highways are not included in this schedule.
