Major Emergency Response After Car Crash in Bromley Leaves One Trapped

A major emergency services operation is underway following a serious road traffic collision involving a car and street furniture in Bromley Road, near the junction with Watermead Road and Southend Lane.

The incident was first reported shortly before 3pm on Saturday, with multiple ambulances, fire engines, and police vehicles attending the scene.  Pictures shows emergency crews surrounding a car, which appears to have struck roadside infrastructure.

The London Ambulance Service (LAS) is already on the scene, amid reports that a person may be trapped inside the vehicle. The London Fire Brigade is also in attendance, likely assisting with extraction and ensuring the area is safe.

Road Closures in Place

Police have cordoned off parts of Bromley Road, causing local traffic disruption as emergency teams work to deal with the incident. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes where possible.

The exact circumstances of the collision are still unclear, and the extent of injuries remains unconfirmed.

Awaiting Official Statements

Inquiries have been made to Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service, and London Fire Brigade for further details regarding the nature of the incident and the condition of those involved.
