Serious collision closes major Portsmouth Road
Eastern Road was closed this morning following a crash between a motorbike and a lorry. The road is blocked in both directions following the incident which happened between Kirpal Road and East Shore Way near to the ambulance station. Police are carrying out an investigation at the scene and have questioned the driver of the van for his account of the incident.
