Work Continues to recover Aircraft following Mid Air Crash in Buckighamshire

Thames Valley Police officers remain in Waddesdon, near Aylesbury, following a fatal air accident on Friday With support from the force, the Air Accident Investigation Branch is continuing work on the investigation which involved a helicopter and light aircraft. Four men died at the scene.

The bodies of all of the victims have now been recovered from the scene. Identities of the deceased will not be released prior to formal identification taking place. Superintendent Rebecca Mears, said: “Our thoughts remain with the families of the men who have tragically lost their lives. Specially-trained family liaison officers are continuing to offer their support to the families of the victims affected, three of whom we understand to be British nationals, one of whom is a Vietnamese national. “Work will today focus on removing the aircraft from the scene which will be done with specialist support.
