Four Beloved Dogs Stolen from Colchester Farm

Police are urgently appealing for help to find four dogs stolen from a farm in Thorrington, Colchester. The raid happened between 4pm and 6.30pm on Sunday, 13 September, at kennels behind a farm on Hall Lane.

Raid at Hall Lane Farm

Thieves forced entry and snatched the dogs: a black Spingador, a liver-coloured Cocker Spaniel with a white chest, and two liver and white Springer Spaniels. All are working breeds and used to roaming free without collars or leads.

Descriptions and Clues

  • The Spingador looks like a black Labrador
  • One Springer Spaniel has a distinctive mole on his left eyelid
  • All dogs are male and unlikely to be comfortable on leads

PC Matt Hall said, “They have never worn collars and would look unhappy on a lead. We’re urging anyone who has seen dogs like these since Sunday to contact us.”

How to Help

If you spotted suspicious activity on or around Hall Lane on 13 September, or have any info about the missing dogs, call 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously. Quote investigation number 42/147667/20.

PC Hall added, “No matter how small or insignificant your information seems, please report it. It could be the key to bringing these dogs home.”
