A deadly collision on the M2 has sparked a major motorway shutdown. Police closed a large stretch between Faversham and Maidstone after a serious two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.
One Dead, Multiple Trapped in Foul Weather Horror
The crash, blamed on foul weather conditions, claimed one life and trapped several drivers on the carriageway. It happened around 7am, with two ambulances rushing to the scene. Police are now carrying out a full fatal collision investigation.
Closure to Last Hours, Screens in Place to Ease Traffic
The motorway closure is expected to last at least four to five hours. National Highways has installed screens on the coastbound side in a bid to keep some traffic moving amid the disruption.
