Neil Astles, 59, a solicitor from Warrington, tragically died from a brain blood clot just days after receiving the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine on 17 March. His sister, pharmacist Alison Astles, told the BBC doctors were “99.9% sure” the clot was caused by the jab. Despite the devastating loss, she stressed Neil was “extraordinarily unlucky” and the overall risk remains “very low”.
“I strongly believe people should keep having the Covid jab,” Alison insisted.
