Deadly Smash Rocks A27 At 11.40pm
A black Volkswagen Golf smashed into trouble heading east towards Chichester on the A27 at 11.40pm on Wednesday, 10 February. The 25-year-old driver from Havant died instantly at the scene.
Passenger Fights For Life
The 19-year-old passenger, also from Havant, suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.
Road Closure & Witness Appeal
The A27 is expected to be shut in both directions between Fishbourne and Emsworth roundabouts for hours while police investigate. Drivers are warned to find alternative routes.
Police Hunt Crucial Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage
- Officers want dash cam clips showing the crash or the Volkswagen Golf’s movements before the collision.
- They’re especially keen to speak to the driver of a Red Audi A3, who may hold vital clues for the probe.
