Luton Lad Nabbed After Driving Miles for McDonald’s – No Maccy D’s in Devizes!
Epic Journey Ends in Fine and Car Seizure
A 34-year-old from Luton was caught red-handed after making a cheeky trek to Devizes on Thursday evening (14/01) – a whopping distance across multiple counties just for a McDonald’s fix. Trouble is, Devizes doesn’t even have a McDonald’s! This blatant breach of COVID-19 travel rules didn’t go unnoticed.
The driver, already warned previously, was slapped with a £200 fine and had their vehicle seized on Estcourt Street.
