Massive Crash Shuts M42 Both Ways
Chaos hit the M42 southbound between junctions 11 and 10 at 5.27pm as a multi-vehicle smash sparked a full motorway shutdown.
Ambulances and Air Ambulance Rush to Scene
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) deployed a huge response: four ambulances, two paramedic officers, their Hazardous Area Response Team, plus the 1 and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Critical Care Car. East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) joined in with three ambulances.
15 Injured but No Serious Harm
A WMAS spokesman confirmed, “On arrival, crews found multiple vehicles involved and numerous patients. The motorway was closed in both directions to manage the incident.”
