Woman in Panic at Dinton Pastures Sparks Police Appeal

Police are hunting witnesses after a woman was seen in a distressed state at Dinton Pastures, Wokingham, on Sunday afternoon.

Distressed Woman Seen Searching for Child

Thames Valley Police were alerted at around 4pm on Sunday, January 4, following a report from a member of the public. The witness spotted a panicked woman walking around the park, calling out for a child.

Description Released

  • About 5ft 7ins tall
  • Dark blonde hair
  • Wearing a black puffer jacket

The woman reportedly said the child she was looking for was wearing red ear muffs.

No Missing Child Reported So Far

Officers have confirmed no missing child reports have been filed in the area. Despite this, Thames Valley Police are actively making enquiries and want to ensure the safety of all involved.

Police Urge Public to Come Forward

Police want to hear from:

  • The woman herself, to confirm she and the child are safe
  • Anyone who saw the woman at Dinton Pastures Country Park
  • Anyone with information that may help the investigation
