Blaze Breaks Out at Barn in Bradbourne Lees

Kent Fire and Rescue Service raced to a barn fire on Canterbury Road, Bradbourne Lees, Ashford on Friday, May 3, 2024. Three fire engines and a bulk water carrier were scrambled to tackle the blaze.

Firefighters Battle Flames with High-Pressure Jets

On arrival, crews launched into action using high-pressure hose reel and main jets to douse the flames. The technical rescue unit was also called in, deploying a telehandler to remove hay from the burning barn and stop the fire spreading further.

No Injuries Reported but Cause Still Unknown

Thankfully, no injuries have been reported from the fire. However, the cause remains a mystery, with investigations ongoing. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution during the emergency response.
