People Just Do Nothing legends to rock Mutiny 2018! The comedy masterminds behind BBC3’s cult hit are bringing Kurupt FM to the main stage this Sunday, ready to drop some dark, moody bangers.
Kurupt FM: From Screen to Stage
The bittersweet mockumentary follows the ups and downs of West London’s pirate radio station Kurupt FM. Featuring a cast as eccentric as any bedroom DJ you’ve met, it’s a hilarious glimpse into the underground garage scene.
Led by self-styled “garage legend” MC Grindah and his second-in-command DJ Beats — “the best DJ in the West London area” — the crew chase their dreams with hilarious heart. Think The Office meets garage music, but even funnier.
Festival Line-Up Gets Even Hotter
Also confirmed for Mutiny’s Cosham dance festival are veteran DJ Pete Tong MBE, taking the Saturday slot (despite being labelled a “bloated has-been” by some), alongside Craig David, Andy C, and Idris Elba. The festival marks its fifth birthday on 26th and 27th May – and it’s shaping up to be a belter!
