Kent Fire and Rescue Service raced to a garage fire on Northumberland Avenue, Cliftonville, Margate, on Saturday, 7 September 2024. The alarm sounded at 2:28 pm, prompting three fire engines to speed to the scene.

Crews donned breathing gear and blasted the blaze with high-pressure hose reels and main jets. Their efforts paid off—the fire was fully doused by 4:14 pm.

Dog Saved, No Injuries Reported

The volunteer response team pitched in too. Luckily, no one was hurt. They also rescued a dog trapped inside during the fiery ordeal.
