KOKO Nightclub Goes Up in Flames in Camden Blaze

A fierce fire erupted at the iconic KOKO nightclub in Camden Town on Monday night. Fire crews were called just before 9pm to tackle the blaze at the beloved club, currently closed for refurbishment.

Workers Help Firefighters Break In

With the venue locked up tight, nearby workers pitched in to help firefighters cut off locks and gain entry. The blaze had already taken hold, engulfing a large part of the building.

Roof 30% Ablaze as Firefighters Battle the Blaze

A London Fire Brigade spokesman revealed, “We were called at 8.56pm to a fire at a Camden nightclub under refurbishment. Thirty per cent of the roof is alight.”

He continued, “Firefighters are working hard to save the rest of the building. Please avoid the area if possible.”

Major Response: 60 Firefighters and Six Engines on Scene

At the height of the fire, six fire engines and 60 firefighters were on site battling the flames at the six-floor north London venue. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
