A police hunt for missing 14-year-old May from Weymouth ended in heartbreak yesterday. Officers found a body believed to be hers after she vanished on Wednesday, 18 June 2025, sparking a frantic search by both police and the local community.
“Formal identification has not yet taken place, but the body is believed to be that of May, 14,” said a Dorset Police spokesperson. “Her family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.”

The tragic discovery has rocked Weymouth, with numerous tributes flooding in for young May. The Missing Persons Team UK, who helped coordinate the search, also expressed their sorrow.
