A 10-year-old boy reported missing in Dover has allegedly been found dead in the sea, according to eyewitnesses. The grim discovery happened after a man noticed a human head bobbing in the water near a jetty and called police immediately.

Officers rushed to the scene where search and recovery teams began operations. The boy was last seen over the weekend, sparking an intense search mission.

“A random man who was standing at the jetty looking out spotted what appeared to be a head in the water and called police straight away. Police were there very quickly,” a local witness told UKNIP.

Kent Police have yet to confirm the body’s identity but are treating the death as unexplained at this stage. The area remains cordoned off as forensic and dive teams continue to work, with a police tent set up at the jetty.
