Brighton 10K Delivers Speed and Stunning Coastal Views

The Brighton 10K wowed runners and fans alike with its fast pace and breathtaking seaside route. Kicking off at Hove Promenade, just 500 metres from the famous i360 tower, the race offered top athletic thrills alongside postcard-perfect scenery.

A Scenic Sprint Along the Coast

From the start, athletes raced west along the full stretch of Hove Lawns, soaking in the fresh sea air. The route blended fierce competition with the chance to enjoy Brighton’s iconic beachfront.

Turning at St. Aubyns Road, runners headed back east towards Brighton’s buzzing seafront, passing landmarks like the Palace Pier that add local flavour to the course.

The Historic Madeira Drive Challenge

The race’s standout feature was a tough 3km out-and-back on Madeira Drive. This part tests stamina while flaunting Brighton’s rich heritage. Participants sped past the world’s oldest aquarium—the Sea Life Centre—and admired Victorian architecture alongside bright Yellow Beach Sports facilities.

Finish Strong Near Iconic Landmarks

At 8km, runners cruised past the i360 on their left, drawing fresh energy from the modern structure as they attacked the final 2km.

Closing the loop near Hove Lawns, they turned at Fourth Avenue for a sprint finish set against the stunning backdrop of Hove Promenade.

The Brighton 10K proved to be the perfect mix of speed, culture, and seaside beauty — a race to remember for every runner.
