A car flipped over at the busy Beachborough Road and Cherry Garden Avenue traffic lights this morning, causing chaos and snarling traffic on Cheriton Road.
Crash Sparks Emergency Response
The smash involved two vehicles and happened just after 11:30am. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene following reports of the collision.
“Officers attended the scene alongside other emergency services, where minor injuries were reported,” a police spokesperson confirmed.
Traffic Nightmare as Junction Blocked
Motorists faced long delays with the overturned car blocking the busy junction. Luckily, emergency teams quickly cleared the wreckage.
Road Reopens After Heightened Delays
Both vehicles have now been recovered, and traffic is expected to return to normal soon after the incident.
