Boy, 10, in Critical Condition After Shocking Newham Crash

A 10-year-old boy remains in critical condition after being hit by a car in Newham.

Collision on Barking Road

Police rushed to Barking Road, near Ernald Avenue, at 7.55pm on Thursday, 13 February 2020 following reports of a pedestrian hit by a car. The young victim suffered serious head injuries and was taken to an east London hospital. He is now stable but still fighting for his life. His family have been informed.

Serious Collision Investigation Underway

The Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit has launched a full probe into the crash. Detectives are desperate for witnesses to come forward.
