Coastguard and Lifeboat called to kayaker who had capsized
The Needles Coastguard and the Yarmouth lifeboat have come to the aid of a capsized kayaker
Team members were tasked earlier today to a kayaker who had capsized and been in the sea for 30 minutes. The casualty was recovered by a passing vessel who made way for Yarmouth Harbour where Yarmouth Lifeboat made an immediate launch to bring the casualty ashore. Assessed by Medics, the casualty who extremely cold and taken to St. Mary’s hospital for further assessment.
