Huge Hastings Search Operation Ends with No Sign of Missing Person
Coastguard and Helicopter Join Forces in Overnight Hunt
A major search mission took place overnight in Hastings as coastguard teams scrambled to find a missing person. Sussex Police called in the UK Coastguard in the early hours of Monday to ramp up efforts.
Massive Area Swept by Rescue Crews
With a huge area to cover, additional Coastguard teams from Bexhill and Rye Bay were brought in. The dramatic Rescue 175 helicopter also took to the skies, joining the hunt over Hastings seafront and nearby zones.
No Sign of Missing Person After Thorough Search
Despite the intense, all-night operation, search crews found no trace of the missing individual. The hunt was officially called off shortly after 5.30am Monday morning.
