Massive Cliff Search Underway for Missing Man in Dover
The Coastguard and Kent Police have launched a large-scale search after a man vanished near the cliffs of St Margaret’s Bay, Dover, tonight (Saturday 20th August 2022).
Emergency teams, including rescue vehicles from the UK Coastguard and Kent Police, were spotted on Hotel Road in St Margaret’s Bay following reports of the missing man.
Urgent Search Operation Launched
The man has been missing for several hours, prompting a coordinated effort to find him. The Maritime and Coastguard Agency confirmed:
Dover and Deal Coastguard rescue teams are working with Kent Police to search for a man who has been reported missing. The search is ongoing and led by Kent Police.
Authorities Keep Tight-Lipped
Kent Police have been approached for further comment but have yet to respond. The search continues into the night as teams comb the dangerous cliffs in a desperate bid to find the man safe and sound.
