Urgent Search Underway for Missing Man at Dover Cliffs
The Coastguard and Kent Police scrambled to St Margaret’s Bay tonight after a man went missing near the cliffs. Emergency teams were spotted along Hotel Road as the search ramped up Saturday evening, August 20.
Massive Operation Launched
The man has been missing for several hours, prompting a large-scale hunt across the area. Dover and Deal Coastguard rescue teams are working closely with Kent Police in the ongoing operation.
The Maritime and Coastguard Agency confirmed: “Dover and Deal Coastguard rescue teams are working with Kent Police to search for a man who has been reported missing. The search is ongoing and is being led by Kent Police.”
Authorities Tight-Lipped as Search Continues
Kent Police have been approached for comment but have yet to release any further details on the man’s identity or circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
